Caught up in Córdoba

Located in Andalusia, Southern Spain, Córdoba is an amazing cross-section of culture, beauty and history. Before touching down, we knew that Córdoba would be beautiful, but it wasn’t until our arrival that we realised how beautiful it truly was.

We loved exploring winding white washed alleys decorated with flowers, and discovering ancient Arabic and Roman ruins, which are dotted throughout the city. Almost every street had historical significance.

Thanks to our amazing hosts, my mother’s cousin Paco and his beautiful wife Esperanza, we felt as though Córdoba was our home away from home. I am caught up in Córdoba and I cannot wait to visit again.

From Paris, with love

Bonjour from Paris! We are absolutely loving the city of love, with its stunning architecture and superb street style. Elegant boulevardiers wander the streets in their crisp white shirts, Celine bags and small white fluffy dogs. I could never tire of smelling freshly baked bread and sweet peonies. Paris; I promise we will meet again!

Fashfest

Fashfest is Canberra’s premiere fashion event. Introduced in 2013, it invigorates the Nation’s Capital with a flurry of talent — from up-and-coming designers and on the pulse bloggers, to amazing musicians and talented hair and make up artists. The event offers designers a sublime opportunity to push their designs in the spotlight and celebrate their skill.

This year I had the wonderful pleasure of looking after the Fashfest Instagram and Twitter accounts. Here I am in the ‘frow’, deep in concentration Instagramming and Tweeting away!

Noosa

Blue skies, aquamarine beaches and golden sand. If there’s a heaven on Earth, I’m sure this is it. While in Noosa, we loved relaxing on the beach, trekking through the national parks, bathing in the sun and shopping up a storm on Hastings Street.

Ashley bought me a beautiful birthday present from a small art gallery and jewellery store on Hastings street. I probably shouldn’t be wearing it on the beach, but I just didn’t want to take it off!

Palm Springs

Our week in Palm Springs, CA was the highlight of our recent US trip. Renowned for being ‘Hollywood’s playground’, Palm Springs is a lush resort oasis surrounded by barren cactus-ridden desert. The unique landscape of green grass and palm trees against dusty, dry canyons is truly surreal.

During our time in Palm Springs we stayed at Rancho Las Palmas, a beautiful resort in the heart of Palm Springs with velvety green lawns, crystal blue pools and vibrant flowery gardens.
